D. Coy Ducks Annoucement

We would like to thank our community for their continued support during the last three months. While we look forward to serving your family's again soon we would like to address some of the changes that have been made to protect public safety, our staff and our business. We will resume dine in service Wednesday June 10th. Operating hours will be limited. Our kitchen will be closing an hour earlier than our posted times each evening. This will allow our staff extra time to properly clean and sanitize our restaurant. Last call for our bar will be one hour after the kitchen closes each evening. We will be closed on Tuesdays until further notice!

We will continue our commitment to the safety of our guests as well as our staff and will be following the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration as well as the Center for Disease Control and Prevention Guidelines for re opening. We will be following and enforcing the Governors Executive Order. Please do not ask us to compromise these standards. The following is a list of some of the "best practices" we will be continuing or implementing upon re opening.

Shift briefings and screening. Each entering employee will be screened to ensure they have no signs of illness. We will also be instructing and continually training our staff with regard to continued sanitation and hand washing procedures as well as implementing the latest procedures in accordance with the MDHHS and CDC. Your servers and bartenders will be wearing masks for your protection. Please do not ask our staff to remove them.

When you arrive we respectfully ask that you wear a mask until you are seated. If we are at capacity we will take your name and number and you will receive a call when your table is ready. You will need to wait outside the restaurant until you are called to be seated. Your party will not be seated next to other tables in order to utilize social separation and adhere to the mandated 50% capacity guidelines. We will only be accepting parties of 10 or less. Bar seating will be limited and on a first come first serve basis. We will not allow the moving of tables, chairs or bar stools to accommodate your seating wishes. There will be no exceptions.

You will be seated at an empty table in order to ensure sanitation of each individual item used. Silverware, additional plates, condiments and salt and pepper shakers will be brought as needed or requested. Each item will then be sanitized after each use. We will also be sanitizing each table and chair top to bottom after each use. We will have QR Codes posted at each table, simply point your phone's camera and our menu will appear. We will also have disposable menus available.

Please leave your politics at the door. Our restaurant wishes to remain casual with a relaxed atmosphere. We would like to ensure our guests a great meal in a friendly environment.

Again, we would like to thank everyone who has supported us through this. It is only with the support of our community and loyal guests that we have been able to overcome the unique challenges presented to us on this journey. With many more hurtdles to cross we respectfully ask for your patience, courtesy and most of all your respect as we re open to challenges not encountered before. We look forward to seeing you very soon.
